Barcelona
Well, Le Blog is a bit behind, but on 14 January, I took a daytrip to Barcelona, Spain, with the spouses' group from David's squadron. Gorgeous day, great food, neat shopping, street performers, and some amazing architecture...I brought Flat Stanley along for the ride, but no kids, thanks to Clarke The Greatest Babysitter Known to Man. She rocks. So does Barcelona!

We lived in Barcelona last year, 2004-05, and LOVED it. I knit in all public places I could find, but never found another knitter. Until I found someone on a "knit up" list who wanted to start a knitting group in BCN. So, she and I were at the first meeting and are co-founders. I still keep in touch via blog and email!! I plan to return this summer for a month to visit and attend more Barcelona Knitting Group meetings! I see you will be doing the dice shawl for the knitting olympics. I made it and loved it. If you get into a pinch, just send an email and I'll try to help.
